Back from Taiwan trip! (Part 1)
Hello ppl, i'm actually officially back on sunday, 23rd sept. Didnt have time to blog cos there's 'so many things to do' and a little bit of laziness. The whole trip was great and wonderful! How i wish i could stay a little bit longer in Taiwan. Started to fall in love wif the country. haha. Due to some technical problem, i need more time to upload the photos. will upload the photos asap.
It is a 6D5N trip. Our group onli consists of 9 of us, and our tour guide, xiao luo. haha.
First day 18th sept
Boarded the plane at ard 2pm. It took off at ard 240pm, the whole journey on the plane was ok. Our first destination was Kaohsiung (高雄), it is the second largest city in Taiwan. By the time we reached Kaohsiung was ard 7pm. Ya, 4 hours flight from Singapore to Taiwan, for your info, tt day Taiwan actually experienced 台风. The moment we reached Kaohsiung, the city is raining. A bit sian lah. We started by heading to Leo He Night Market （六合夜市). It's similar to our night market, selling all sorts of local delights. Mango ice, pearl milk tea, deep fried sotong, smelly tofu (臭豆腐)! The smell is really... smelly! You can almost get to smell it from each angle n area in the night market. haha. Den we headed to our hotel aka 饭店. Not those very high class but at least they have all the facilities we need. First thing i did was switched on the tv n started to switch the channels here n there. They have over 90 channels and i'd actually lost in my switching. There isnt a channel i can stop and watch for half an hour or more. It is so cool can! haha!
Second day 19th sept
Our morning call was 630am, for your info, everyday our morning call is 630am. Need to get ready n have our breakfast n everything by 8am. That is our daily routine and we changed hotel everyday. haha. a bit like 逃难 rite? but we don carry our luggage walking ard.
We started off by heading to Hsuan Tian Shangdi Temple （玄天帝神像), Fo Kuang Shan Monastery ( 佛光山）. We had our lunch at Fo Kuang Shan Monastery, den follow by a long long bus journey from Kaohsiung to Taichung(高雄 - 台中). It's ard 2 1/2 to 3 hours journey. All of us did was SLEEP. haha. Den we reached Chi Lin Fong Hot Spring (麒麟峰温泉). we enjoyed bout an hour in the hot spring and we proceed to another night market, which is Feng Jia Night Market （逢甲夜市). Dis night market is named after a university, 逢甲大学. It is divided into two sections, one for food another for shopping. We spent for bout 2 hours or more at the night market before heading to our hotel. Dis hotel i must say smth bout it. It is so Japanese style, and there is a sona system in each room. haha.
My feelings:
there's actually too much to say bout Taiwan but i will try say as much as possible.
Kaohsiung is a city which is very hazy, like a city having air pollution. every road and street we passed by is fenced. they are upgrading their transportation. Almost everywhere i go i see scooters. Their men and women all ride a scooter. they can just park their scooter at anywhere they like, as long as it does not block the way. I also hardly see any Mac, KFC or any fastfood restaurants. just to share wif u all smth. In Singapore, toilet in Chinese we would label it as 厕所 or 洗手间. in Taiwan they label it as 化妆室. haha. will continue more bout the trip. cheers!!!

Work. Away.
been working for the past few days.
both days were ultra busy.
keep packing the things.
going up and down.
legs are so suan n pain now.
ytd did closing = work as coolie.
start closing at ard 8pm.
left at ard 1030pm.
n time flies.
today went back to expo again to clear
up the rest of the supplies.
n we throw all the cds away!
which include
sun yan zi,
sun ho,
fei yu qing,
n many many more.
haha.
anyway i'll be leaving tml for taiwan.
will be back on sun.
n more updates will be made.
just finished packing not long ago.
need to slp soon
cos i'm super tired.
haha.

last min.
ytd was working at expo as coolie.
carry tables, books,
countless stacks of assignment exercises.
standing, running, walking, bending,
carrying supplies up n down.
blah blah blah.
one word: tired.
dis morning woke up
both arms are aching.
so suan.
went out last min today.
went to simei wif yumei, sengtat n edmund.
bought a new pair of sandal.
25 bucks instead of 29.90.
all thx to yumei for 'sha-ing' price
den both of us benefit.
haha.
den we walked from simei to the bus stop
where yumei is going to take bus 8.
den from there we walked to the bus stop
where the three of us is going to take bus 31
which is at tampines.
imagine: simei to tampines,
tampines to simei den to bedok.
haha.
den sengtat went to get score from edmund
n i headed home.
haha.
oh ya btw i gotta my results.
all pass n i'm content.
haha.

The company . cupboard .
ytd went shopping wif yumei.
waited for her to knock off n met her at inter.
train-ed down to city hall.
walk walk walk,
look look look,
cant find the sandals which she wanna.
den we anyhow walked ard.
didnt noe tt my phone was ringing as i was bathing.
2 missed call i received.
den ma happened to came up wif raw meats out of a sudden.
den i realized tt actually her refrigerator is spoil.
haha.
today spent half of my day wif godpa.
suddenly received a call from him
askin am i interested in watchin a vcd.
ended up accompany him for the whole afternoon.
though i'd watched the movie before,
but it's becos his my godpa,
i'll nv reject his request.
haha.
saw his past medical report.
3 stack of report.
12 yrs old start smokin.
50-60 sticks per day.
4 yrs ago stop smokin.
2 yrs ago removed his left lung.
n the story goes...

anyway off i go to have my dinner
wif my lao ba.
haha.
chaos.

Doubts
went to food fair on sat.
able to go in but cant come out.
everything seems to be the same.
all i see was shark fins shark fins shark fins.
sian.
den some more i'm eatin zhai,
so most of the food i cant eat.
can see cant eat.
haha.
ytd went sentosa for sun-tanning.
wif haha n qiqi.
totally don have the sunday feeling.
totally forgotten wad day n wad date for a moment.
took lots of photos too.
haha.
den from harbourfront we headed to yishun.
met up wif xiaoen qiaoling hid n minghao.
left at ard 7pm.
bus-ed home.
long journey yet it's a relax one.
anyway gotta sun burn.
my back n legs are super red n pain!!!

was out to celebrate jiahao's birthday.
wif meiqi, qiaoling, hid, claire, louis, minghao n the birthday boy.
went to amk for k-lunch session.
felt tt smth is missin.
don really have the mood to sing.
at some point of time we just listen to the songs.
left at 2pm n headed to jiahao's house for mj.
play half a round n
went to look for my lao ba n mummy at bugis.
imagine the journey from woodlands to bugis...
i sat till my butt numb sia.
now i understand.
haha.
accompanied my mummy to buy the things which she needed.
n my lao ba actually wanna to 'sponsor' smth for me
but i rejected.
i oso don noe why.
recently not in the right mood.

dis book has a very attractive n cute cover page,
